North Coast Rep features “Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help”

North Coast Repertory Theatre presents the San Diego premiere of “Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help,” directed by Jenny Sullivan and written by Katie Forgette. The show runs Oct. 23-Nov. 24. Salute to Paws 5K and festival

Locally based nonprofit Shelter to Soldier will put on its inaugural Salute to Paws 5K and Gratitude Festival for Dogs starting at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 16 atNaval Training Center Park in Liberty Station, 2455 Cushing Road. Proceeds go to the nonprofit, which rescues dogs from local shelters and trains them to becomeservice animals for post-9/11 veterans suffering from post-traumatic stressdisorder, among other injuries. La bohème from San Diego Opera

Poway Symphony Orchestra to open 2024-2025 Concert Season with famed Romeros Guitar Quartet

The Poway Symphony Orchestra will open its 21st concert season with “A Trip to Spain with The Romeros,” presenting a program of lively Spanish-inspired music and featuring the world-renowned Romeros guitar quartet. The concert will take place on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. at the Poway Center for Performing Arts.The Romeros will be joining the Poway Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto Andaluz for four guitars and orchestra. Harvest for HOPE fundraiser

Operation HOPE-North County will put on its Harvest for HOPE event to celebrate its alumni success stories from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4 at The Farm at Leichtag Commons, 441 Saxony Road, Encinitas. The Oceanside High School (OHS) Foundation will hold a fundraiser at Best Pizza and Brew, 1639 S.
