Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are already at work making a list of government employees they'll fire, according to a report.

Puck News reported on Tuesday that the new Department of Government Efficiency, which has yet to be legally recognized, is reaching out to former Cabinet secretaries in Donald Trump's first administration.

The men want two lists from former administration workers. One is a list of people they served with who would make possible political appointees.

The other is a list which grades people they worked with. They're being asked to mark "A" next to people that should be brought on board, and "B" for those who should be "blacklisted or fired," Puck News reported.

"Of course, civil servants (the career officials) are typically protected from political raids at agencies, but Trump has vowed to use Schedule F, an executive order that would make them fireable — and these plans for mass layoffs will almost certainly wind up before the courts," the report said.

Last week, it was reported that there is no shortage of applicants for the DOGE agency, but it has not easy to find people willing to work for free.
