MINNEAPOLIS — The John Marshall soccer team got a strong performance from its forwards and midfielders as it dropped Minneapolis Roosevelt 4-1 in non-conference action.
JM coach Abdul Noor gave credit to Elijah Johnson, Owen Franken, Kevin Lowery, Eli Johnson and Samir Noor for all having strong games.

Franken led the Rockets with a goal and two assists. Johnson, Lowery and Noor also each scored.
JM goalie David Carter had six saves.
Abdul Noor was also pleased with his team’s defense.
“All credit goes to goalkeeper David Carter and his defensive unit of Lennox Robinson, Jonathan Boyer, Zachary Moos and Gabriel Diekman,” Noor said. “They’ve performed well and built a strong relationship. I am happy to see that we’re learning and improving each game and the team is showing the level of intensity and competitiveness.”
