Polygonathon 2024 is on!

Join us on Twitch and help support this year’s charity, GLSEN

Polygon is pleased to announce that in two short weeks, we’ll be reprising our annual 24-hour charity gaming marathon Polygonathon, in support of GLSEN! The stream will begin at 12 p.m. EDT on Oct. 3 and run until noon the following day.

Per their website, GLSEN’s primary focus in helping our nation’s schools “cultivate a safe and supportive environment for all students, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.” The work they do is incredibly important, and we’re excited to be able to rally our community around such a great cause.

We have a lot of fun planned for our 24 hours of streaming, with lots of special guests, challenges, and, as always, great games. As in previous years, we’ll be raising money through Tiltify. Check out the page a couple days ahead of the stream to see some of the incentives that await!

Starting right at noon EDT, you can get a chance to be part of our group Minecraft build project. In the style of streamer RTGame, we’ll be hosting a Minecraft realm where viewers can contribute to a massive theme park. At the end of the stream, we’ll be coming back to tour everyone’s creations.

Late-night viewers can expect a Fuser DJ set from Patrick Gill, with some special guests pitching in, followed by a graveyard horror game shift.

Starting on Thursday, Patrick Gill and Simone de Rochefort will get behind the wheel for a Grand Theft Auto 5 morning radio show — but wacky Crowd Control integrations mean viewers will definitely have a say in how the game turns out.

Previous Polygonathons have supported a range of charities: We’ve raised money for The Innocence Project, Trans Lifeline, and Foster Love. We’re thrilled to be back at it again, gaming for a cause that we care about.

Make sure you subscribe to Polygon on Twitch ahead of Oct. 3 to be notified when we go live!
