Eternal Character boost
Starting Tuesday, Nov. 19, Diablo 4 is getting its first character boost feature, although it only applies to Eternal Realm (read: non-Seasonal) characters.
Everyone who owns Diablo 4 can boost one character to level 50, select from three different sets of Legendary Items, instantly unlock all Altars of Lilith, and pick up a host of materials like Gold and Obols. Players who own the Vessel of Hatred expansion can boost a second character this way.
While Blizzard refers to the Welcome Back Booster as a “limited-time” offering, there is no end date listed in their blog.
Return of the Red-Cloaked Horror
From Tuesday, Nov. 19, to Tuesday, Dec. 3, the Red-Cloaked Horror monster has a chance to spawn instead of a Hellborne in Helltide. It can also spawn randomly in dungeons and the Infernal Hordes mode.
The Red-Cloaked Horror can drop a variety of rewards, including the event-exclusive Gideon’s Brew, which is a powerful Elixir that increases damage done, XP earned, and materials acquired for 30 minutes.
Limited time Spiritborn trial
From Tuesday, Nov. 19, to Monday, Dec. 2, players who don’t own the Vessel of Hatred expansion can jump in and make a Spiritborn — Diablo 4’s sixth character class. While the trial will only be available to level up to level 25, character progress will carry over for those that eventually pick up the expansion.
If this is your first time trying the class, see our best Spiritborn build guide.
Mother’s Blessing XP boost
From Tuesday, Nov. 19, to Tuesday, Nov. 26, the Mother’s Blessing XP and gold boost will return to Diablo 4. This boost is multiplicative, meaning it stacks with other XP increases like Elixirs, making leveling up characters and increasing their Paragon level much faster during this short window.
