Not as hard as yesterday but still a bumpy and challenging day. Different take on the Giro dell’Emilia finish with a descent and sprint after the classic San Luca climb.

Lots of people lost time yesterday so in theory this has all the makings of a breakaway day but I can’t shake the feeling that there are too many bigs who didn’t get what they wanted yesterday and want to keep a break in check.
