Collage Jazz, with special guests the Holland Patent Jazz Ensemble, will present a Jazz Appreciation Month Concert on Monday, April 15 at 7 p.m. at the Remsen Performing and Visual Art Center on Main St. in Remsen. The program will consist of lively jazz standards and jazzy pop arrangements. Each group will perform individually, highlighting their favorite repertoire. Collage will present a special set dedicated to clarinetist Artie Shaw, and the combined groups will perform at least two tunes by Duke Ellington – C Jam Blues and In a Mellow Tone – as well as Stevie Wonder’s popular hit Superstition.
