Entertaining game, I really enjoyed it's complexity. It does however, get very difficult when you have no friends to play with you.
In Powerline Guardians, step into the boots of a fearless defender on Mars, where a team of powerful drills works tirelessly to extract valuable Martian ore. Five power lines connect the drills to their energy source, but swarms of hostile Martian spiders are determined to cut off the power and halt the operation.
Your mission: defend the power lines at all costs. Eliminate incoming spider waves, repair any damaged wires, and ensure the drills keep working until they've gathered enough ore. As the pressure rises, your reflexes, strategy, and repair skills are all that stand between success and total shutdown. Hold the line, fend off the infestation, and secure the ore to complete your mission!

Very good game
First off, the most important thing I learned in this game is that you can RELOAD BY PRESSING "R." I didn't find this in the instructions, tutorial, or anywhere else, and there's no sound effect associated with it, and the animation is easy to miss. But reloading is pretty standard for games where you shoot guns, so I'm not sure why they put the mechanic in the game but didn't mention it. I didn't realize this the first several times I played, but once I did I became much more successful. You can even reload while you're in the middle of a repair.
In my first run I played Balanced, but didn't do well, and so then played Defender a bunch of times. I did a lot better and learned a lot, but eventually I returned to Balanced, and realized it's probably better than Defender. The Defender does much better against spiders, and Balanced only gets a little more repair ability, so you wouldn't think it makes much difference. But you get around 30 seconds at the beginning of each mission to repair without any spiders, and I found this gives a little advantage to Mechanic and Balanced. Defender is liable to fall behind with repairs more easily than Balanced. And once Defender does fall behind, it can take a very long time to complete the mission. I played Mechanic some as well, but they're low HP and fire rate was often a problem, slowing down the time to get the repairs.
I generally recommend that you first focus on killing the brown spiders instead of the red ones, as they're doing damage to the pipes. Try to get them to chase you or attack you--as long as you're playing Defender or Balanced you can tank a fair amount of damage (and in solo you'll heal it all back rather quickly, while in multiplayer a teammate can revive you if you die). Once you have all the pipes working, just start patrolling, from the end point of one pipe and on to the next, killing spiders as you find them. If you see that a pipe has turned red you can try shooting in the general direction of the end point a few times (probably not a good use of ammunition if you're a Mechanic though).
Once I got the hang of the game I could generally solo any mission in about 3-4 minutes as any of the 3 classes. Pipe placement will can make it harder though. But keep in mind that pipe 1 is roughly to the east, 2 roughly south or southeast, 3 is roughly west, 4 is roughly west or northwest, and 5 is roughly north, so that can at least reduce your response time when pipe is damaged.
Interestingly, I found that multiplayer is usually harder than solo. I only played with a few other people. Playing with someone else is guaranteed to increase enemy spawn rate, but there's no guarantee the other player will be particularly helpful or skilled, and I know of no way to communicate with other players. Of course, if you're playing with someone you know and have voice chat with or something, it could make it a lot easier.
Other than that, the game doesn't really feel full-fledged. I'm guessing it was based on Among Us to some degree. It lacks a lot of rather basic features I'd want to see--multiplayer communication, simply explaining that "R" reloads the gun, letting you know when a pipe is under attack, maybe a stats screen.
I give it 3.5/5.
not fun alone
I am sharing a score of 3 stars? Why you say? Your tutorial explains NOTHING about the controls, how to fix the cable, or that you only have 30 shots, then you can't defend any more. No ammo appears in game, and to those who haven't played, right click over the repair icon, until the circle is complete.
