The IR Forum Masterclass conference is designed to focus solely on incident response (IR) and geared towards legal, compliance and cyber insurance professionals.
Jenn, speaking on the “Incident Response: State of Play,” uses Mullen Coughlin’s collective experience in handling over 4,250 data privacy and security incidents in 2024 to provide insights and trends on today’s state of the cybersecurity IR legal and technical landscape.

Invest in the Expense: Implementing Cyber Coverage to Combat the Ever-Evolving Risk Landscape
At CLM’s Annual Conference 2025 (AC25) on April 11 in Texas, Mullen Coughlin Partner Carolyn Purwin Ryan joins the panel session, “Invest in the Expense: Implementing Cyber Coverage to Combat the Ever-Evolving Risk Landscape,” alongside cyber insurance and incident response professionals from Tokio Marine – Catherine Lyle and Jenna Canet – as well as Gallagher Bassett’s Kirsten Mickelson.
This session highlights emerging cyber threats and explores how cyberattacks, such as ransomware and supply chain vulnerabilities, are now beginning to pose a financial threat greater than the cost of cyber coverage, as well as threats to organizational reputation, operations and client data. Carolyn and the rest of the panel share real-world examples of threat actors exploiting security gaps to deploy ransomware and provide practical steps and best practices that organizations can take to strengthen their cybersecurity efforts.
