College Credit

MCC offers programs for high school students to take classes and earn college credits. Starting college in high school saves time and money plus offers special support services to make the college transition successful. Some students graduate MCC with an associate's degree at the same time they receive their high school diploma!

Take Dual Enrollment classes at your high school earning college credits or take Concurrent Enrollment classes on the MCC campus while you are in high school.

Early College has a great selection of specialty programs to get high school students on the road to college success. If you are homeschooled, you can take classes at MCC in person or online. Achieving a College Education (ACE) is a scholarship program for students who are first-generation to college, from single-parent households or meet other criteria. Hoop of Learning is for American Indian students. During the summer, there are Camps, College Starts Now and the Early College Academy. Explore more about these on the column to your left.

Take classes with your friends at your high school. Some credits apply toward your high school graduation, too. If you attend a Mesa school, meet with your MCC on-campus advisor or contact the Dual Enrollment staff at 480-461-6360.
