¡Bienvenid@ a la página oficial de Madrid JUG!
Tanto si eres nuev@ en este mundillo que rodea a la Máquina Virtual Java, como si estás curtido en las mil batallas del bytecode, has encontrado el sitio perfecto para aprender, enseñar y conocer gente interesante.
Intentamos reunirnos una vez al mes bajo el formato de charla técnica + cervezas. Las reuniones son en principio el segundo jueves de cada mes, aunque por diversas circunstancias puede variar tanto de semana como de día. Los encuentros se anuncian normalmente a través de esta "community".

Creemos en el valor de una comunidad donde compartir conocimientos y experiencias, como forma de desarrollarnos, enseñando lo que sabemos y aprendiendo del resto.
Para ello es primordial que nuestra comunidad sea abierta, participativa e invite a cualquiera a participar, sin importar su condición, nivel de experiencia, o cualquier otra característica personal.
De hecho, creemos que es importante favorecer esa diversidad entre asistentes y seguidores, porque será lo que enriquezca nuestras actividades y nuestra vida como comunidad.
Todos los Juggers son bienvenidos. Es responsabilidad y obligación de todos fomentar y cuidar que nuestras reuniones y canales de comunicación sean espacios seguros, cómodos e inviten a que cualquiera pueda aportar su punto de vista y expresarse como és y se siente.

Jakarta Jakarta EE 11 is the first release of Jakarta EE after the new release cadence was introduced to be able to pick up features from the latest LTS release of Java where applicable.
With Java 21 released in 2023, Jakarta EE 11 was released in 2024 with support for this LTS release.
What were the updates? Are there any new specifications that were introduced? What about removals? Will there be another namespace change? How will the impact of this release be on other frameworks and technologies, such as Spring, Apache Tomcat, Hibernate, and more?After the talk there will be an Eclipse Foundation Panel moderated by Carmen Delgado.
