McKinley Health Center
News/Announcements
McKinley Health Center is celebrating their 100th Anniversary. This was made possible due to a generous donation made by Senator William B. McKinley. McKinley originally was a hospital for students and faculty. Today we are a driving force of innovation keeping Illinois students well to excel. For a century we have been delivering healthcare services, touching lives and making a difference.
Illness Prevention & Etiquette
It’s that time of year when illnesses can be on the rise. Practicing good habits can help prevent the spread of illness. These include: cover your mouth & nose when coughing or sneezing; wash hands with soap & water; use alcohol-based hand sanitizer; avoid touching eyes, nose, & mouth; stay home if sick; wear a mask if needed; and regularly clean & disinfect surfaces. Lastly, get your flu shot! McKinley offers free flu shots.
Temperatures in Illinois can get dangerously low. Be prepared on what to wear and know how to be safe during the winter season.
