Seria® was released in
the year 2000. It could be seen as a ‘literary’ typeface with long
ascenders and descenders, both in serif and in sans, and with a special
upright italic. The relatively small x-height makes Seria a challenging
typeface for the experienced typographer. In 2003 the Seria family won
two awards: a
Certificate of
Excellence from ISTD and a
Certificate
of Excellence in Type Design from ATypI.
