Is it time for Carlo Ancelotti to leave?

Carlo Ancelotti has undoubtably had a illustrious career, including significant achievements with Real Madrid. However, recent performances suggest that a change in leadership may be necessary.

One thing that may affect Carlo's future at Real Madrid are the defensive issues. In their last 4 outings, Real Madrid has conceded 10 goals, indicating a lack of defensive solidity and organization. This clearly means that there is a problem defensively, but so far Ancelotti has not seem to taken that into big consideration.

Another problem is that, there is a noticeable lack of balance within the team. Ancelotti has struggled to find the right combination of players, particularly in the midfield. This has resulted in a lack of creativity and playmaking, preventing the team from dominating matches as usual.

Furthermore, some strategic decision-making has come under some serious criticism from some fans (including me). Ancelotti's substitutions in the AC Milan game is an example of poor tactical management. In this game he took out Valverde and replaced him with Brahim Diaz. This was a bad choice because when Milan scored their 3rd goal, it came from the side that Valverde would have been. Personally, I respect Brahim a lot, but he just doesn't give as much defensive work rate as much as Valverde considering his style of play and physical. This ultimately led to Milan's 3rd goal. This is just another example of Ancelotti's poor decisions throughout this years poor start to the season.

While Carlo Ancelotti as had a magnificent time at Real Madrid, the current challenges courtesy of Ancelotti might lean towards a change in leadership. A new director could help address these issues and restore the team's superb performances.
