72 Seasons
This is the season when the fruit of the "tachibana" turns yellow. "Tachibana" is a generic term from ancient Japan, the use of which in literature can be understood as referring to different varieties of citrus fruit. The "ukon no tachibana" tree that stands to the right of the Kyoto Imperial Palace ceremonial hall entrance is a "yamato tachibana" variety, a citrus fruit native to Japan on which the flower on the medal for the Order of Cultural Merit is modeled.
