Consomacが、ユーラシア経済委員会に登録申請された情報から、5月か6月に新型iPhoneが発表される可能性を記事にしていますが、これに関して、Global Sources Mobile Electronics 2018に出展する多くのiPhoneケースメーカーに取材したところ、5月に発売されるiPhone SE2は、本体サイズはiPhone SEと変わらないものの、3.5mmヘッドフォンジャックが無くなり、NFCによるApple Payの交通機関および店舗支払が可能になるようです。

また、前面はiPhone SEと変わらず、Touch IDを搭載し、A10 Fusionチップを採用することで、HEIF／HEVCメディア記録が可能になり、iPhone 7・iPhone 7 Plusラインの製品に近い扱いになるようです。

なお、Qiワイヤレス充電にも対応するようですが、筐体背面がガラス仕様である確証は得られませんでした。
