Professor Sanders received his J.D. from Northwestern University in 1969 and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Northwestern in 1974. A member of the Law Center faculty since 1983, Professor Sanders’ primary sociological interest is in the attribution of responsibility. On the law side, his primary interests are toxic torts and the role of expert witnesses in court.
