KU Debate Heritage Fund - Annual Campaign

The University of Kansas Debate Team has a long-standing heritage as one of the most successful academic programs at KU with a legacy that parallels the success of KU Men's Basketball. 

At the National Debate Tournament (NDT), the KU Debate Team has:

• Won 6 National Championships.
• Reached 20 Final Fours.
• Qualified for the tournament every year since 1968. 
• Claimed second place in the 2024 NDT.

With rising expenses, your contributions are essential to build upon the success for the KU Debate program. Contributions to the KU Debate Heritage Fund support opportunities for KU students to travel to national competitions. A generous donor will provide a dollar-for-dollar match of all gifts of $1 to $1,000 for the first $25,000 in contributions. Your donation will make you a permanent part of the heritage of KU Debate as your gift will help us ensure that future debaters have the same opportunities in perpetuity.
