Battery Recycling
JVC voluntarily supports the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC), a non-profit public service organization dedicated to recycling rechargeable batteries. The RBRC "Call2Recycle" Campaign allows consumers to locate used battery collection sites nearest them or mail in their non-working batteries free of charge. For more information, call 1-800-8BATTERY or visit their website.
Projection TV and Projector Bulb Recycling
Consumers with JVC projection televisions and/or projectors are strongly encouraged to safely recycle their mercury-containing D-ILA lamps. A list of electronics recycling centers, including those that accept mercury-containing lamps, can be found at E-cycling Central.
The Northeast Waste Management Officials’Association provides additional information on the use of Mercury in electronic products and recycling.
The State of Vermont also provides residents with information on the proper disposal of mercury-containing lamps and bulbs on their website.
