Sworn Duty
New Year's Day means new oaths of office for Wharton County's officials who were either elected or re-elected in November's general election. Szymanski, District Attorney Mark Racer, Precinct 3 Constable Blake George, Precinct 1 Constable Bill Copeland, Sheriff Shannon Srubar, Precinct 2 Constable Bill Hedges, County Attorney G.A. "Trey" Maffett, Precinct 3 Commissioner Steven Goetsch, and Tax Assessor-Collector Cindy Hernandez.
