Law enforcers from cities, counties and state agencies have stepped up patrols throughout the New Year’s holiday weekend.
Officers will be looking for drivers who are not wearing seat belts, who may be intoxicated and/or not obeying the safety rules.
Those who plan on celebrating are urged to either have a designated driver or plan on staying at the event location.
