The Japan Cybercrime Control Center, a non-profit and public private partnership organization that addresses threats to cyberspace, was established and began its operations on November 13, 2014.
We are aimed at identifying, mitigating, and neutralizing the root of threats to cyberspace, including cybercrimes, which makes it possible to suppress subsequent incidents. This will be accomplished by gathering knowledge and experience in dealing with threats to cyberspace from industries, academic institutions, and law enforcement agencies, analyzing all of them, and sharing results of analysis among the community, which enables us to observe all of cyberspace from a bird's-eye view
We collaborate with industries, academic institutions, and law enforcement agencies to address the latest threats to cyberspace targeted at Japanese citizens.
IMPORTANT: Unfortunately, we do not help individual recover from scams and get refunds. Please contact your local police for assistance if you may have any concerns.
