Virtual Reality continues to surge in popularity and these Black Friday Meta Quest 3 deals and bundles are well worth a look if you've been looking to check out the latest devices. We're covering last year's Quest 3 and the very new - and super budget-friendly- Meta Quest 3S on this page.
While Sony seems to have almost given up on its 2023 return to VR with the PSVR2 and Apple's ludicrously overpriced Vision Pro has failed to capture the public's eye, Meta has become the leading brand of all things VR in recent years.

You don't need a pricey gaming console, PC, or mobile to enjoy the Meta Quest 3 series of VR headsets, as all the computing power comes from the device itself. The two hand controllers are included, too. It's the most user-friendly VR experience out there and has a large library of apps and games to enjoy. It's been a huge holiday hit in recent years, and you're in the right place to find one for the best price. Let's dive in.
Meta Quest 3S Black Friday deals
While we're still waiting for a discount on the actual hardware for the new Meta Quest 3S, keen players might want to dive in regardless, as all purchases currently come with a free download of the brand new Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game - which is lauded as one of the best titles you can play on the new headset. You'll certainly want to get it free, as buying the game separately costs $50.
When the older Quest 3 launched last year, it came with Asura'a Wrath 2 for free for a while, and that game still costs $60 if bought separately, so don't sleep on this on these Meta Quest 3S bundles.
The Quest 3S is Meta's most affordable VR headset. It has the same chipset and gaming performance as the pricier Quest 3, but its display isn't as sharp. This is an excellent fit for casual users who want a more budget-friendly entry into the world of VR. This is a great time to buy, as you'll get a free download of the Batman: Arkham Shadow game (worth $50).
The larger 256GB model of the new Quest 3S is for the more dedicated VR fan keen on downloading and storing a larger number of games and apps at once. VR newcomers would be better off saving some cash with the 128GB model in our book, though. Otherwise, you're getting the same excellent value headset, and all purchases currently include a code for the super-fun Batman: Arkham Shadow game (a $50 value).
Meta Quest 3 Black Friday deals
The full-sized Meta Quest 3 is an odd duck right now. It's only a year old and still an excellent piece of hardware with a slightly better resolution than the new 3S, but it costs $200 more.
Granted, you're getting a more advanced piece of kit (not by much, though, in all honesty) and a much larger storage capacity at 512GB instead of the 128GB/256GB options the 3S comes in.
Meta has kept up production, though, and like the Quest 3S, you can get a free code for Batman: Arkham Shadow with purchases, which adds another $50 value to the deal below. We'll keep our eyes peeled for further discounts over the Black Friday season.
The slightly older Meta Quest 3 VR headset builds on its predecessor with mixed reality capabilities, 4K resolution, an upgraded processor that offers double the speed, and new ergonomics for the head unit and controllers. Like the newer 3S model it also comes with a free download code for the new Batman: Arkham Shadow VR game. The larger 512GB version is the only one remaining, as the smaller ones have now been discontinued.
What about the Quest 2?
The Meta Quest 2 (formerly known as the Oculus Quest 2) has officially been discontinued, and we haven't seen any new units in stock for quite some time.
Plenty of refurbished ones are knocking around, but most are more expensive than the new Quest 3S, which is a poor value today, given the Quest 3S is a more advanced VR headset than the Quest 2.
As such, we won't highlight deals for the Quest 2 unless they're ridiculously cheap - say $100-$150. And even then, they'll be refurbs/preowned.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday lands on November 29, 2024. Cyber Monday is just a few days later, on December 2. Early Black Friday sales will probably pop up at several retailers. While you'll likely find the best deals on the actual sale day, you may find a rare chance to grab products you've been eyeing at their cheapest well before the holiday rush begins. Keep your eyes peeled for new deals in the weeks leading up to Black Friday.
Will the Meta Quest 3 or 3S be on sale for Black Friday?
We're confident both will be involved. The main Quest 3 is over a year old, so it is in a great position to be discounted - and it needs one, to be honest, given the 3S is much cheaper and the best option for most buyers.
The Meta Quest 3S was only released in October this year, but even so, we think there might be some modest discounts on the horizon. $25-$50 off may be as good as it'll get, given the 128GB model is only $299 to begin with.
Some retailers might start competing with each other by bundling in some free accessories or games, though.
