A top to bottom extensive renovation that transformed a 3 storey, 3 bedroom, dated 70's condo into a warm and modern city home for a busy professional. The first phase of the project was the extensive renovation to the interior which involved gutting and redesigning the kitchen, powder room, fireplace, laundry room and two bathrooms as well as replacing all the outdated finishes and fixtures. The second phase included working with the homeowner to furnish the space using her cherished existing pieces combined with some new and vintage finds and sourcing new original art to add to her growing collection. The final phase involved collaborating with a landscape designer to transform the unfinished rooftop deck into a sophisticated outdoor entertaining space. CRID's role as primary project consultant began in the early stages of house hunting with the client, to conceptual design plans, to design development, custom detailing, to construction drawings, project management, move-in, and post move-in furniture and art sourcing.
