Watch a 91-Year-Old Italian Grandma Cook With Weed

For the inaugural episode of something it’s calling “Bong Appetit,” Vice checks in with sassy nonagenarian Aurora Leveroni, or Nonna Marijuana as she’s known, because she combines 75 years of cooking delicious Italian food with a twentysomething stoner’s culinary pot prowess (despite not partaking herself). She only started adding ganja five years ago to help with her daughter’s grand mal seizures, but watch her school this Vice reporter like a pro on the finer points of infusion, like adding four ounces of weed per pound of butter (intense!). “I am going to make chicken cacciatore and gnocchi, but I am going to add an ingredient that most of you don’t use when you’re cooking,” she says, addressing her new viewership. “No sticks, no stones will break my bones, but don’t fool around with my marijuana. I can assure you that if you do, sticks and stones will break your bones.”
