Reps for Ahmass Fakahany and chef Michael White’s Altamarea Group say they will convert the food-and-beverage operations at Richard Gere’s Bedford Post Inn in Westchester, changing the name of its farmhouse restaurant to Campagna. The inn includes a fine-dining restaurant and an outdoor, grill-based terrace, as well as a private events space. Ai Fiori and Costata chef PJ Calapa will oversee the entire operation, along with chef de cuisine Devin Bozkaya, a veteran of West End Bistro and the Inn at Little Washington.

Actor and humanitarian Richard Gere, who took over the 14-acre property with partner Russell Hernandez in 2007, says in a statement: “From the beginning we’ve been committed to the highest possible quality at the Bedford Post. This partnership adds a new dimension to its excellence and future. We’re very excited.” Hernandez and Gere will continue to manage their side of the property, which has a Relais & Châteaux affiliation and aspires to a Stone Barns-meets-Camp David vibe. “I want this to be a place where the minds of people who could change the world would meet,” Gere told New York in 2009.

Altamarea Group recently opened an uptown outpost of Ristorante Morini and announced it will soon open another restaurant in the old Park Avenue Café space.
