Allegedly, red velvet cake will not solve all of your problems. A new study conducted by Penn State links unhealthy eating with unhappiness. Women who are already in a shitty mood, and have body-image concerns, will only feel worse about themselves after feasting on cookie dough and mass amounts of cheese. (Well, duh.) The interesting news is that women who are in good spirits won’t experience any change in mood after snacking on junk. These researchers clearly have never finished off a pint of Cherry Garcia while simultaneously watching awful Grey’s Anatomy reruns and Facebook-stalking an ex’s new girlfriend.
