Reporting security issues

⚠️ Please do not report security vulnerabilities through public GitHub issues. ⚠️

If you discover a security issue, please follow these guidelines to responsibly disclose it:

  1. Private Disclosure: Do not disclose security issues publicly until they have been resolved and a fix is available.

  2. Contact Information: Report security issues by emailing at [email protected]

  3. Provide Details: Please include as much detail as possible in your report, including:

    • A brief description of the issue.
    • Steps to reproduce the vulnerability.
    • The project name and the affected version(s).
    • Any potential impact or exploit scenarios.
  4. Responsible Disclosure: Give us time to assess and address the issue before sharing it with others. We are committed to resolving security issues promptly.

Security Response

Upon receiving a security issue report, we will:

  1. Confirm the issue and assess its severity.

  2. Develop and test a security patch or fix.

  3. Release a security update.

  4. Notify the reporter of the issue and other affected parties once a fix is available.

Support for Older Versions

The project will be maintained with security updates for the current stable release and one major version prior. If you are using an older version, consider updating to the latest release to ensure you receive security fixes.
