Why?

With Codeanywhere, devs and contributors can:

  • Instantly launch a cloud or local IDE with remote dev environment.
  • Automatically set up and configure a remote dev environments if a devcontainer.json file is present.

Benefits:

  1. Faster onboarding for new contributors.
  2. Consistent and ready-to-use development environments.
  3. Flexibility to work in the cloud or locally.

im not fan of this, it spend to much time to setup, I have to register a account and wait for minutes to start. There's web vscode and faster than this

Sadly registration is there to fight off malign users. Anyway, mroe options is always better, for example user can hit limits with available hours on other services. And also, Codeanywhere has GPUs. But, yes, Codespaces could also be added.
