Remiges IDshield delivers a comprehensive authentication, authorisation, session management and user management framework, using standards-compliant services and protocols. Remiges IDshield builds on the industry standard Keycloak system without any changes to the base product's source code.

Keycloak provides authentication, authorisation, user management, etc, but has a relatively steep learning curve. Integrating Keycloak with your next business application involves deep study of Keycloak and a series of technical choices. Guessing one's way through such a configuration and architecture labyrinth is not the best approach.

IDshield brings in our prescriptive standards, tools, libraries and processes to allow a developer team to integrate with it. IDshield makes Keycloak more powerful and accessible.

IDshield adds Keycloak plugins which enable popular features like SMS-based 2FA and geo-IP based access control which are not supported by Keycloak in its base configuration. Through IDshield, Remiges brings consulting and professional services to implement single sign-on features for a family of applications. IDshield runs as a separate service, with its own database tables. Remiges offers our expertise to help you run IDshield as a container in a Kubernetes cluster. Keycloak and IDshield are implemented in Java, but they integrate seamlessly using web service calls with any business application in PHP, Java, Go, dotNet or other programming languages.
