Alwyn Gosford
Senior Art Director, Video
With a creative career spanning three decades, Alwyn Gosford has mastered the realms of both photography and video. A seasoned Senior Art Director, his tenure with Getty Images' has been since its inception in 1995. Originally a photography art director, his passion led him to embrace the world of video art direction in 1998, coinciding with Getty Images' acquisition of its first video library. An evangelist for the creative potential of film, he tends to a cohort of filmmakers and photographers, nurturing their talents. Alwyn derives immense joy from initiating photographers into the realm of video, and from pushing seasoned filmmakers to explore their creative limits.

As a Director of Creative Strategy at Getty Images, Amy’s work involves bridging the gap between the Getty Images proprietary data and analysis and its impact on content creation. Leveraging her analytical profile, deep understanding of the creative marketplace, and visual landscape, as well as her extensive experience and expertise in content creation, she provides intuitive and tactical solutions to produce compelling and market-disrupting imagery. She has successfully conceptualized and produced hundreds of shoots around the world, showcasing a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to deliver impactful visuals across various subjects and production scales.

Arisa Nagai is a Senior content specialist, Creative content for APAC region, based in Tokyo, Japan
Since developing a keen interest in conceptual art & Photography from a young age, I have been collaborating with photographers to explore ways to tell a story. That led me to join Getty Images since 2021, and since then I have been working here at Getty collaborating and curating regional contents with talented creators across APAC.
I have just entered a parenting-life since 6 months ago, and am learning so much about how they see the world in a complete different way - in a super cool way though !!
Beth Wachtel

Beth Wachtel is a creative content manager at Getty Images, based in New York. With a BFA in photography and a background working in art institutions such as The Paul Strand Archive, Wadsworth Atheneum and The Center for Creative Photography, she has been with Getty Images since 1999. In her current role she works collaboratively with a roster of photographers, as well as, with the broader Getty and iStock contributor community through creative briefing, shoot guidance, curation, and content reviews.

As a Creative Insights Researcher for EMEA at Getty Images & iStock by Getty Images, with a focus on GLR, Carolina works with an international team of researchers and art directors.Carolina has combined 6 years of experience in market, brand communication and visual research, which gives her the tools and expertise to understand consumer sentiment and attitudes, and how to choose imagery for compelling campaigns.
Claudia Marks
Senior Manager, Creator Development
Claudia Grimaldi Marks is a New York City-based photography and creative director with over 30 years' experience in publishing and image making. Currently the Senior Manager of New Creator Strategy at Getty Images, she is passionate about helping creators find their paths toward careers in editorial, commercial and stock photography.
She oversees Getty Images' Creative Content efforts to work with creators from underrepresented groups to help diversify our contributor community. Collaborating across functionalities, advocating, and evangelizing for team members to embrace the importance of who is behind the lens, she guides the production of visually stunning content that speaks to Getty Images' 25+ year global legacy.
Davina Ajana
Creative Insights Manager, EMEA
Davina has extensive experience in creative, marketing and branding within the retail sector. Working as a brand consultant, helping brands to further build on their visual identity. She studied MA in Photography and Urban Cultures, where she explored the relationship between urban spaces and identities. As a Creative Insights Manager for EMEA at Getty Images, she works with different industries to understand what types of visuals best connects with their audience. Creatively Davina and her daughter have created a magazine, an independent print publication to inspire and empower young readers.
Dr. Rebecca Swift
SVP, Creative
Rebecca joined the photography industry over 20 years ago and was one of the founding members of the creative research team at Getty Images, introducing visual research methodology to the industry. One area of visual communication Rebecca is particularly passionate about is evolving visual representation. Rebecca is personally responsible for driving change in visual language depicting women and girls, which she has done by rewriting the visual standards of commercial imagery depicting this group and briefing Getty Images’ contributing photographers against these new visual standards. Most recently she has turned her attention to addressing authentic and diverse representations of people with disabilities and moving the visual language about aging forward.
Emilie McKittrick
Senior Content Editor
Emilie is a senior creative content editor at Getty Images, based in US. With a background in photography and anthropology, she joined Getty Images in 2003 and worked in Creative Operations before transitioning to the Creative Content team. She uses her 20 years of experience to work collaboratively with a global roster of photographers and filmmakers developing ideation, shoot guidance, and editing to create differentiated content. Supporting the wider Getty Images and iStock contributor community, she provides creative briefing, curation, and promotion of the strongest content both internally and externally. In addition to her work at Getty Images, Emilie is passionate about travel, museums, and adventure in the outdoors by horse, foot, or skis.

Equipped with a BFA in Photography and Video, Gabriel is a passionate Content Specialist devoted to empowering Brazil's artists at Getty Images and iStock. Flourishing in culturally vibrant hubs like NYC and Shanghai, and backed by extensive experience across travel, advertising, and stock industries, he brings a distinctive global perspective to nurturing artists in finding their creative voices.
Gabrielle Pedro Fredrick
Researcher, Creative Insights
Coming to Getty Images after over a decade in television and media, Gabrielle revels in using research and industry news to detect and isolate emerging visual trends. As part of the Creative Insights team, she identifies topics and opportunities for improved visual representation through the company’s VisualGPS research platform. Having studied for a Master of Arts in Mythological Studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute, she hopes to eventually get her PhD, studying the evolving influence and intersections of mythology and folklore in pop culture.

Gosling came from Journalism and Communication background, and is a seasoned Editor with a proven track record in the media production industry specialized.
Kate Rourke
Director, Creative APAC
Kate joined the photography industry over 14 years ago and today works as Senior Manager in the Creative Insights team, who set the global content strategy for Getty Images, through analysing trends in visual communication. This knowledge helps inform Creative Insights – an online destination from Getty Images that gives behind the lens access, authentic thought-provoking imagery and a curated glimpse of today’s visual trends.
Kate regularly talks at client events around visual communication, and day to day works with the Art Directors, Editors, photographer and videographer communities’ setting briefs, and advising them on the content they need to be producing for Getty Images and iStock.
Kate is also a qualified pastry chef and previously worked in restaurants in London.

Since joining to the Getty Images in 2004, Masa has been involved in various roles related to photography and videography production. Recruited coutless regional photographers and videographers, including established award-winning creators. Masa is based in Tokyo and is passionate about using visual media to engage and move audiences. He is dedicated to his work, always available or committed to his role.

Melanie Velez is a Mexico City native with a background in innovation and design, specializing in sustainable management. She’s always looking to blend strategy with creativity and is part of the creative team at Getty Images, helping to highlight everything LATAM. Rachel Brinton Matthews
Senior Art Director, Video
Rachel is a Senior Art Director at Getty Images, specializing in video production. She collaborates with award winning directors and photographers to create industry-leading visuals for Getty Images and iStock. Prior to this, Rachel launched and managed the film archive at Bridgeman Images, working with renowned archival institutions. With a Master's degree in Film Aesthetics from Oxford University, she brings a strong academic foundation to her practical and experience in TV and advertising, where she has worked as a researcher and production assistant. Rachel is dedicated to shaping the creative industry with her expertise in visual storytelling.
Rebecca Rom-Frank
Senior Insights Researcher
Rebecca Rom-Frank is Senior Creative Researcher for the Americas at Getty Images. On the Creative Insights team, she develops thought leadership and visual communication strategies based on cultural and consumer research. Though her background is mainly in writing and publishing, she began her career teaching darkroom photography and has served as a photo editor for a nonprofit organization. At various times an active participant in literary, music, and arts communities in New York City, she is passionate about research, culture, and storytelling in many forms. She earned herr BA from Bard College and studied film production at The New School.
Renata Simoes de Aguiar

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Renata embarked on her professional journey at Getty Images in 2006, as a Creative Researcher. Over the years, she navigated through various roles, progressing from Marketing to the Creative Content team in 2016, where she has since passionately overseen the creative content creation for the Latin American and Asian markets, and most recently the Americas, ensuring that local customers receive content that is not only authentic but also differentiated and distinctively tailored to their needs.
Richard Newstead
Senior Manager, Creative Content
Richard is a senior creative content manager at Getty Images based in London. He joined the production team in 2000 aiding with the digitisation of the inaugural one million images for the pioneering website. Transitioning to the Creative team in 2003 he has evolved his roles since, encompassing collaboration with a diverse range of contributors, provision of extensive creative support for the Getty/iStock communities and active participation in the development of future creative technology projects. Richard has a BA (Hons) in Photography and Media, a PQE awarded from the British Institute of Professional Photography and has been an active contributor to the Getty Images collections since 2006.

Sabine recently rejoined Getty Images as a Content Specialist before moving into Curation and Promotion for the EMEA region. She brings many years of experience in visual research, idea generation, art direction, curation and all aspects of shoot production for commercial visual content. Currently collaborating with the Creative Team she creates compelling visual stories that celebrates our content.
Samuel Malave Jr

Samuel Malave Jr is a proud Nuyorican, born and raised in the Bronx. His expertise is rooted in brand strategy, having spent his career helping brands better connect to their customers, whether at advertising agencies or one of your favorite music streaming services. Now, he is supporting Getty Images in their mission to move the world as a Manager on the Creative Insights team. When he’s not working, you can find Sammy snapping portraits of his loved ones or reading a sci-fi/fantasy series that isn’t complete yet.
Sandra Michalska
Manager, Creative Insights
As a Creative Insights Researcher for EMEA at Getty Images & iStock by Getty Images, with a focus on French speaking markets, Sandra works with an international and cross-functional team of researchers and art directors. Her expertise is rooted in brand strategy and visual culture, having spent her career in advertising and design agencies in Paris. Since 2020, she has been part of the Creative Insights team, helping brands navigate their visual strategy. She’s an avid cinéphile. Outside work, you can find her in cinema, museum or watching motorsports.
Sarah Foster
Senior Manager, Creative Content
Sarah Foster works as senior creative content manager at Getty Images, based in New York. Building on a background in documentary photography and writing, she has been with Getty Images in various capacities for over 25 years, working in research, sales, and then happily within the Creative Content department as a content editor and art director. In her current role, she works collaboratively with a roster of photographers and develops effective creative consultation for the wider Getty and iStock contributor community, with in depth support on portfolio and shoot development, creative briefing, image selection, and the curation and promotion of Getty Images’ best content.

Stephanie is an award-winning designer with a portfolio of work servicing clients like Sephora, Microsoft, Ford and Versace. Prior to joining Getty Images as Senior Creative Manager for APAC ,she spent the last decade working in various creative positions for companies including Warner Bros. Discovery, Foxtel & Aristocrat.
Tristen Norman
Director and Head of Creative Insights, The Americas
Tristen is a visual researcher and strategic creative lead for the Americas at Getty Images. Leaning on over a decade of experience in marketing, creative, and brand strategy, she works across disciplines to understand what motivates visual selection, identify shifts in our global visual language and uses these insights to help shape the development of Getty’s visual content and guide brands to better visual choices. A passionate advocate for elevating underrepresented voices within creative spaces, she also plays an essential role in leading and supporting initiatives such as the Nosotros Collection, Project #ShowUs, as well as partnerships and activations with advocacy organizations like SEEHER, Women’s Sports Foundation and GLAAD.

Victoria Resico is a Senior Content Specialist with a passion for shaping visual narratives. Since joining Getty Images in 2021, she has dedicated over two and a half years to cultivating and expanding our Latin American community of creators. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Yuri spent her early years in the US, Spain, Czech Republic, and South Korea. Her educational and working background is in visual media with emphasis on film production and digital media design. Since 2016, she has been part of the Getty Images & iStock Creative Team where she guides customers on which visuals most powerfully connect with brand audiences, as well as assisting aspiring photographers, videographers, and illustrators in creating inspiring imagery.
