The Sunbird Pantry is a valuable resource for the FPU community. All traditional undergraduate, graduate, and degree completion students are encouraged to visit the pantry once a week to receive a variety of meal items for healthy and sustainable living. The Sunbird Pantry is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Students who need access to the pantry outside of these hours should email Taylor Starks ([email protected]) for additional support.
The Sunbird Pantry is staffed by FPU students and operates on donations from staff, faculty, alumni, and community partners. When making a donation, please take the following into consideration:
- Expiration Dates – expired items cannot be accepted.
- Packaging – items that are damaged, open, or previously used cannot be accepted.
- Canned Goods – please consider cans that can be easily opened as most students do not have access to can openers.
- Donation Times – please donate items on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM so they can be received and inventoried by our student staff. Please do not leave donations outside the pantry as it may attract unwanted guests.
