Fortinet AIOPs recognized by Network World
Network World speaks with Fortinet about the value of adding WAN capabilities to FortiAIOps
FortiAIOps is an artificial intelligence with machine learning (AI/ML) solution for Fortinet networks. This ensures quick data collection and identification of network anomalies. Fortinet network devices (FortiAPs, FortiSwitches, FortiGates, SD-WAN, FortiExtender) across the network feed the FortiAIOps dataset, enabling insights and event correlation for the network operations center (NOC).
Enable visibility into your network across the full OSI stack. For example, get Layer 1 information, such as full RF spectrum analysis to understand interference on your Wi-Fi network. And, get Layer 7 application information that allows you to see what applications are traversing your Ethernet and your SD-WAN connections.
Utilize a suite of troubleshooting tools to probe the network and understand diagnose issues. VLAN probing, cable verification, spectrum analysis, service assurance, and more, all can be used to test the network.
FortiAIOps leverages our long company history with AI and ML to provide an optimized network experience for all users across WLAN, LAN, SD-WAN, and 5G/LTE gateway. By following trends in your network, and with full access to logs from across the Fortinet Security Fabric, the AI engine within FortiAIOps can use ML to understand what’s right for your network, and highlight issues that need attention before they begin to impact your users. Easy guidance is provided to understand and fix what’s happening.
Maximize Visibility
Analyzes data from across the network to enhance visibility of key details
Easy Troubleshooting
Provides direct access to various network components with built-in tools to verify network health
AI-based Insights
Uses dynamic AI and ML to reduce ticket volume by predicting and remediating potential issues
FortiAIOps is available as a per-device subscription (FortiSwitch or FortiAP) for a user installed VM. FortiAIOps can be licensed for monitoring and troubleshooting or for AI Insights. A bundle including both is available as well. Additionally, FortiAIOps offers insights for SD-WAN (FortiGates and FortiExtender).

Solutions for automated network operations that use artificial intelligence with machine learning are only as reliable as the data they take in. The more the system knows about your network, the devices on it, and what they’re doing, the better the recommendations and automated actions will be.
When evaluating AI Network Operations solutions, look for these 5 key capabilities.
