As part of Fortinet's Education Outreach program, the Fortinet Veterans program works to fill the cybersecurity skills gap by helping facilitate the transition of military service members, veterans, and military spouses into the cybersecurity industry. The program has a presence in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia as well as having a reach throughout the world with our network of partners.

Ver ahoraWith over 3000 veterans and spouses receiving benefits to date, the Fortinet Veterans program is free for all military service members, veterans, and military spouses to help transition into a career in cybersecurity.
When individuals exit the military, they may not have the social network necessary to find employment in the private sector. The Fortinet Veterans program works to connect these individuals with our partners who can help prepare them for a role in cybersecurity, develop their skills and expand their networks.
The Fortinet Veterans program has been updated to provide additional benefits to veterans and their spouses. This includes introducing a progressive pathway to Fortinet Certified Professional certifications, providing access to Fortinet’s new Networking Fundamentals course, and working more closely with partners who offer career development services for veterans.

Fortinet has established the Veterans Program Advisory Council to provide more cybersecurity opportunities for the military veterans community. Council members from across the Five Eyes countries will provide guidance on how the Fortinet Veterans program can further help military veterans transition into cybersecurity.

Veterans training at Fortinet Certified Professional level or higher earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for CISSP and other ISC2 designations. Learners earn one credit for every hour of NSE Certification training.
