Happy Saturday
Explore #410 October 4, 2008
I'm amazed my hay fever didn't kick in as the air was filled with the scent of oil seed rape. My eyes were more stung by the shock of yellow everywhere. Taken in the fields that top Streatley Hill, West Berkshire.
It was past midnight last Friday, while I was parking my car coming back from a party with my Gf & friends, I saw the beautiful sight of the golden yellow moon with all the craters and surface so clear with clouds surrounding it in a pitch dark sky, through my car's windscreen. My immediate thought was to capture this sight. I ran inside to get my camera and my new 80-400G VR2 lens which I'd recently bought but hadn't used till now. I had no time to get the tripod as the clouds were moving fast, so I took many shots from the street handheld before the clouds moved away. Within seconds clouds were all gone, but luckily I got this shot of the moon surrounded by these amazing formation of the clouds. I'm happy with this beautiful shot & I must say I'm impressed by the sharpness and amazing VR capabilities of Nikons 80-400mm G VR2 lens. It's worth every penny spent.

Shot for Macro Mondays' February 8th theme "Vibrant Minimalism."
My macro lens stopped working right before I was going to shoot this stuff. Had the idea(s) so shot for the theme anyway (once I had a working macro lens again.)
This is an egg slicer.
Yellow. The colour of the field we found during our holidays in Spain. Really beautiful scenery.
Thank you all for your appreciation.

By far the best shot I have ever done of this beauty. Not a lifer, but a beautiful bird, on Lake Apopka in the Willows, on my driver's side, and posing! Thank you, Jesus! I am blessed and highly favored to have gotten to be there for such a time as this!
