Tout près...

The pond at Ft. Lowell park in Tucson Arizona has a fountain right in the middle of it. I was lucky enough to get a shot of this male American Wigeon as he flew in front of some of the spray.

The obligatory Yellowstone wildlife photos, elk, bison, moose, osprey. I saw a bear but could not get a good photo.

My last post for the year. See you all in 2023

Came across this little fellow which is wondering…who is disturbing the peace?

An impressionist view from the shore of one of the largest lakes at Plantsbrook Nature Reserve. A haven for wildlife, and one of my favourite places to walk with Marnie and my camera.

Many thanks, as always, for having a look and for your kind comments and faves -- I really do appreciate them all.

Thank you, everyone, who helped my picture into Explore on 12 August 2021 - I'm delighted and honoured !

One of about 23 wildlife refuges in Washintion state. There was construction on the days I went so most trails closed except drive thru. I did see one poor mangy coyote eating something in the wetlands. I video recorded her.

Ears are up, and I think I see something tucked under his toes, protecting his meal.

Out my window this AM. I'm sure he's been busy eating my flowers all night and now resting. The deer and the rabbits have done much damage this summer to my plants. Lots with out flowers and some leaves on the hostas. Hmmmmm

Every morning during the Corvid 19 lockdown I am walking around the lake in my local park just as the sun is coming up. It has brought some great opportunities to capture sunrises and to spend time with the wildlife. This particular pair of swans are a new pairing. The male had a lifetime mate and she died earlier this year. This was a sad event but the cob flew off and returned about a week later with a new mate. It is lovely to watch them together. I do not think we will have cygnets this year, but maybe next year we can look forward to them again.

Really not a fan of these cheap ND filters (Altura). Used to love them on my 18mm. They just cast a blue tint that I can't appreciate. If anyone ha any suggestions on professional grade ND filters that won't break the bank, please inform me below!

If you like my work, please let me know. I appreciate any criticism!

Thank you.
