The northern mockingbird is the only mockingbird commonly found in North America. This bird is mainly a permanent resident, but northern birds may move south during harsh weather.
I'm back and on track! California was a good time with this trip being all about the big birthday celebration of Tim's mom and meeting more extended family!! However we did just happen to get some nice beach shots etc. in between...;))

A lightning bolt plays havoc with the lighting in my panorama of the night time view from State Tower in Bangkok. We stayed there a couple of weeks ago when the rainy season was still in full swing. In a dramatic turn of events the rain has completely dried up in the last week and the temperature has dropped by about 5 degrees. It promises to be a beautiful November and December. I am told this is the nicest time of the year to be here
Yesterday we have been to the 'Fichtelsee', a lake at the 'Fichtelgebirge'. It's located 30 km south of Hof and actually a wonderful winter wonderland! There we could enjoy this view to the 'Schneeberg' with the setting sun in the back, illuminating the clouds.
This pano was stitched from 5 single shots.

This is a dotted with daisies street in the form of a staircase, which leads to the higher levels of the exceptional, wonderful, big ancient city Neotera Pleuron. Neotera is the newer Pleuron city, which was built west of the Evenus river on the uplands of Arakinthos mountain after 235 B.C. by the inhabitants of the oldest Pleuron, when they were forced to abandon their city. The oldest city, a famous city mentioned by Homer, was destroyed by the Macedon king Demetrious II.

Thank you everyone - i'm grateful being explored
Isle Lake Alberta. Focal length 1680mm. Using stacked Tc's and the far distance in-between doesn't scare the birds off.
Found this image while I was cleaning out the SD card, taken earlier of the year with the Fujifilm X-T20 (retired). The timestamp feature was broken (I dropped the camera during the blackout from the freaky winter freeze storm - felt like a century ago!) but it should be within 30 minutes after sunrise @6:51AM.
Happy Hump Day!
