Noch ein Bild vom Tag der "Ouvertüre" .

Paar zünftige Wanderlatschen hatte ich an, während dieser Stunde - die sich dann etwas ausgedehnt hatte und mit einer kleinen Beule endete. Aber das war noch nicht alles. Die Wiese klatschnass, das Gras ging mir stellenweise bis zur Nasenspitze und ihr könnt Euch vorstellen, man springt von Motiv zu Motiv, man weiß eigentlich gar nicht wo zuerst ... Am Ende dann, plötzlich ist die Magie vorbei, bemerkt man erst wie nass man selber ist und dass die Klamotten nur so an einem kleben !

The recent trip to the lakes, more especially Derwent water led to some beautiful moments, none more so than the moment the sun broke through the mist and trees to produce a stunning sight that was reflected wonderfully in the lake as well

Fumarole with a sulfurous steaming in Hverir, a geothermal area near Myvatn in Iceland.

It has been a lovely lazy summer.. spending time with my family. Then fab weather and company in amazing Spain.XX

Now it's time to come home ...the mountains .

A shot from this mornings sunrise at Seaham harbour . I had to go up the step s and climb down the big wall this morning to get on to the beach . The piers been closed for refurbishment if you look in to the picture you see scaffolding on the pier . Thanks for looking .
