Lund is not a town known for its lakes. Because there aren't any really. And then they built this thing - so this is a completely artificial lake that did not exist ten years ago (when I moved to my current address, not that far from here). Someone did a great job creating this! And it is appreciated not only by people but also birds and frogs.

View over lake Vänern - the largest lake in Sweden (and actually the largest lake in the European Union, and the third largest in Europe - the two largest being in Russia).

Lake Minnewanka is a glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park in Canada. For more than 100 centuries, people hunted and camped along the original shores of Lake Minnewanka. The Stoney people called it “Minn-waki” or “Lake of the Spirits”. They respected and feared this lake for its resident spirits. The Early Europeans called it Devil's Lake. Rocky Mountain ridges stretch can be seen while walking around the lake, the mountains eventually blurring into a blissful cascade of colours.

Bow Lake is located on the Bow River, in the Canadian Rockies. Bow Lake was one of the stops during driving on the Icefields Parkway. It was a cloudy morning, I was amazed by the magnificent peaks and reflections on the lake. The view is stunning. Spending some time walking around the lake, the sceneries of Canadian Rockies are out of this world.

on a hot August Day in the Fraser Valley

The sun trying to come out.

This is another shot from Grasmere Lake on a very still September evening. I wanted to capture the concentric circles around the Swan. I used HDR again from a single RAW image.
