At the bottom of the artificial waterfall (but just OK) outside of the office building in the middle of Sydney city. Lit up for Christmas at night. There was a Christmas tree on top, too.

Due to a sleepless night, i trekked around the city at 2am and found this view! Here i decided to take the time and create one of my first proper manual exposure shots :)
This was the only morning during our stay that we had anything close to resembling a sunrise. The clock on the Wrigley Building gives a good estimation of when the sun rises in Chicago on this date.
It's been a while since I last uploaded but I'm back! I have quite a few shots to share from America and Canada which was a fantastic experience.
The Chicago city skyline from Grant Park just before sunrise... but what... too many clouds for a sunrise to be seen. How unfair is that???
… the Walkie-Talkie, the Scalpel, the Cheesegrater and 22 Bishopsgate, now masking the Gherkin, all disfiguring the City skyline :-/
This picture was taken at The City a great urban sim where one can roleplay, hang out, or snap some cool pictures.
The team there newly added another sim, bonding them by bridges, called The City Township with a more rural and natural feel to it, with the possibility to rent cozy houses to call home.
On top of that, they just opened an amazing club called Levels where you can enjoy some of the best DJs on the grid all night long!
After our visit, we decided to chill and unwind at the pier around Circle 8 Patio&Bar another club right in the center of the neighborhood with some fresh beers and one of the best views of the City ! Cheers
Absolutely worth the visit : Your taxi here 🚕

"We found you hiding, we found you lying
Choking on the dirt and sand
Your former glories and all the stories
Dragged and washed with eager hands
But, whoa, oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Whoa, oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
Your city lies in dust..."

Amersfoort is a very historic and atmospheric city east of Amsterdam. It has many beautiful medieval buildings that are well maintained. It is a busy place with just over 150,000 inhabitants.
The first villagers probably settled in Amersfoort around the 11th century, as it was a strategic location near a fortress in the river. This would most likely have been important for both trade and travel, as all travelers heading that way would have to pass through the village to cross the river.
Being in such a good trading location, the village grew and prospered quickly and soon more permanent buildings were established around the central area. The city was chartered to become a city in the late 13th century and soon the construction of the city walls began.
Construction of the new church began in the mid-15th century. this lasted well and the city continued to grow until 1787, there was a massive explosion in the church, which destroyed most of the main building. The high tower (Onze Lieve Vrouwe Toren - Lange Jan), with a length of almost 100 meters, has remained and still stands. Amersfoort had also become an important trade center for tobacco and textiles.
