Thank you so much for your wonderfully clear explanation. My problem is that there doesn't seem to be 'mail actions' available from my iPad or iPhone gallery so my painting files seem to be literally stuck in Brushes app. and playback obviously remains there too. I've been wondering how I can mail files big enough to print so that they aren't just a jpeg photo in my iphotos box. This has frustrated me for months so I'm impressed you worked this out in just a couple of weeks. Like you I just can't find anyone to answer these questions for me. I just lost 146 'paintings' files wiped from the Brushes app. in an accident. I'm not even sure that the odd photo and e-mail I made of them has the same quality as the original file sent out as a PNG.

Any ideas would be more than wonderful! Thank you again for the information you posted in October 2011.
