How To Win (Almost) Every Political Argument - Eric Kirshner
INTRODUCTION
Fact versus fiction. Nowadays it's easy to fall into a trap of trusting a news source that has been feeding viewers propaganda for years. I fell into that trap. It took me a long while to learn what news to trust and what news is complete BS. Luckily for you, I’m here to help open your eyes to the massive amount of disinformation spread by quite a few media outlets. They do this to create certain narratives—narratives that help certain politicians get elected or stay in power.
The truth is important. Media can spin news and facts so that it's sometimes difficult to know what's real and what isn’t. This happens to Democrats and Republicans alike.
While the Left and the Right will probably never agree on every issue, there are some gray spaces in between where there can be sensible compromises.
I’m willing to bet that the vast majority of Americans want lower taxes for the poor and middle class. They want lower crime and a better economy. They want to avoid wars and to have an ethical government. One side will deliver this; the other will deliver higher taxes, more poverty, more crime, fewer jobs, and US involvement in foreign wars. I’ll show you and provide sources so you can get an even better understanding and have proof.
Some politicians are like used car salesmen. They will promise things they know they won’t deliver. You find out only after they’ve been elected, and by then it's too late. The goal is to educate people so they can have informed discussions and make informed votes at the ballot boxes.
Let's look at some major issues and see if we can come to some agreement.

Capitalism: An economic system where a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners and not the state.
Socialism: Businesses are owned or heavily regulated by the government. Taxes are very high. The government has much more power, and people have less freedom. All citizens are supposed to share equally whatever economic resources the government allocates.
Communism: Pretty much the same as socialism; the state owns and controls property and economic resources.
The United States has become the economic powerhouse and innovative
