FOREWORD
In 2017 I wrote a paper about us humans titled "Know your belief. Understanding Faith; The Theory of Human Being.". This was published by The International Journal of Social Science and Humanities Research, Vol 5 Issue 3, July through to September 2017.
I tend to do things backwards, like write theory’s before developing a way of establishing the hypothesis and proving that up first. The abstract for this paper is as follows with an explaination of the development of the thoery an appendix to this book;
The theory is simply that we humans are all unique, independent with two elements to our being; the physical and non-physical. Proof of the non-physical is creativity. It exists, not defined or explained by science with no rules or boundaries established. Rules and boundaries can be devised for our physical existence; intellect, instinct, memory, emotions and feelings, but not for creativity. Why? Creativity is not a physical attribute to our existence during our being and is therefore non-physical in nature. The same reasoning applies to love with the added note that love can dominate all other functions of the mind. The mind is where the two opposing elements interact and form the whole being.
The aim was to bring spirituality into science, to make it known. Known but not yet complete by any means, just to get a toe in the door so others would start looking. I wanted to counter the generation to next generation ad nauseum loop of imparting belief that societies are trapped in. I concluded that by introducing creativity and love as a new branch of science, I could stop men in robes brainwashing kiddies. As religions claim to know the nonphysical, also known as the spiritual realm, it was well overdue for science to get serious and investigate nonphysical attributes we display using the scientific method of discovery. Spiritual is after all but another term for the nonphysical
Two years later I discovered that someone I cared for and loved very much had absolutely zero empathy, a classic narcissist with sociopathic traits. But what we think we know of these personality types is somewhat misunderstood, as I discovered. By using the premise of the theory I devised previously, I was able to convey the concept of empathy to the person with zero empathy. Conveyed meaning to them about love and empathy and the associated feelings and emotions by empathising their life, an unempathetic life. Done by empathetically becoming them and imagining their life as I creatively and empathetically imagined, a life of being totally unaware of empathy as a feeling. I confronted and described their life to them, why things happen to them they get surprised by. I got full, expressionless and unemotional attention. Except the eyes, the eyes swam with emotion. The response to an unemotional but logical explanation was instant and the change in behaviour, remarkable. Fully understood the flaw, a lack of empathy, within themself and attempted to change but alas, It did not last which we will come to later.
But the exciting thing is, what was done with one can be repeated with others because there is more than one person with a total lack of empathy in this world. So if a lack of empathy can be identified then perhaps it can also be treated. Hopefully long term, but only temporarily unfortunately, going on the experience from this one case study that I did. Empathy does not come naturally for people like them, instead it is a somewhat exhausting conscious effort and so did not last. But the important point is that love/ empathy should be able to be confirmed scientifically now, by it being provably not present in some. We just need sensors to detect. If a lack of empathy can be detected and identified via a repeatable and reliable test on people, it will bring
