In the past we called it family devotions; I prefer to call it family time with God. Families that spend time with God together are engaged in things that have eternal value. When we undertake to have family time with God on a regular basis, we must remember that this special time together should be a loving and positive experience. It should not at all be a gathering of sullen souls who wish they could be doing something else. Family time with God can be creative, exciting, and merry.
