THE TITANS ARE BACK IN ACTION, BUT THE fourth season of the superhero drama will explore new territory, namely the supernatural corner of this universe. The season three finale found the team claiming victory over Scarecrow and embarking on an RV road trip back to San Francisco. In this year’s premiere, the remaining members – Dick/Nightwing, Gar/Beast Boy, Kory/Starfire, Conner/Superboy, Rachel/Raven and Tim Drake – make an unscheduled pitstop in Metropolis. It’s on Superman’s home turf that they experience their first brush with malevolent forces… and they don’t like it one bit.
“With the new villains Brother Blood and Mother Mayhem, we are dealing with the occult,” showrunner Greg Walker tells SFX. “With the occult comes magic, dark magic, or magick with a ‘k’ as our writer Bryan Hill would say.
