RE-CAST GOLD

Lasance joined the cast in Season 2, taking over the role of Jack from New Zealander Michael Dorman. The action picks up again two years after Season 1, going beyond the novel on which the series is based, and is set to be much darker.

THE SECRETS SHE KEEPS IS BACK FOR A SECOND SEASON – AND THIS AUSSIE FAVOURITE DOESN’T DISAPPOINT IN THE ‘PRESSURE COOKER’ SERIES

Two years after the critically acclaimed psychological thriller The Secrets She Keeps blew our socks off, Season 2 has returned to our screens with Aussie favourite Todd Lasance taking over the role of Jack, previously played by Michael Dorman. Here, Lasance spills on the Aussie series’ return.

What’s in store for Jack this season?

Oh my god. The better way to pitch it would be, what’s not in store for Jack? This season is a complete game changer. It’s phenomenal. It’s like a constant pressure cooker for these guys, and Jack, in particular, he just goes to hell and back if I’m being completely honest.

It sounds hectic!

As an actor, this was a dream role. I’ve never been more nervous slash excited to have a series coming out, given what Jack goes through, and carrying on from the last season. I put my entire soul into this role. So I’m hoping that translates on-screen! Anyone who’s been a big fan of the first season will be very happy with how this one plays out.
