2019 Wisconsin Behavioral Health System Gaps Report
This report was completed by the UW Population Health Institute. It identifies gaps in Wisconsin's behavioral health system in areas such as the service array, workforce, accessibility barriers, and system inequities. It also offers possible solutions to addressing these gaps. The report is based on the knowledge and experiences of service providers, state government staff, advocates, and consumers. This information was collected through interviews, surveys, and focus groups.

Suicide in Wisconsin: Impact and Response, P-02657 (PDF)
This report was published in 2020 in partnership with Mental Health America of Wisconsin, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and other stakeholders. It presents the most up-to-date picture of suicide and self-harm injuries in Wisconsin, as well as four strategies and 50 opportunities for action that, when taken as whole, provide a path toward reducing suicide attempts and deaths over the next five years.
The Voices of Wisconsin Students: Learning, Coping, and Building Resilience During COVID-19
The Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service Research Partners and the Medical College of Wisconsin hosted 23 focus groups with students in grades 6 through 12 in 2021. The findings were compiled into separate reports for middle and high school students. This project was funded by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
