The AquaINFRA project showcases how the FAIR principles—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable—are driving forward interdisciplinary science. Lise Schrøder, Associate Professor, explains how AquaINFRA, as part of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), connects marine and freshwater research, breaking down barriers to share data across countries, fields, and ecosystems. By building a Virtual Research Environment (VRE) and harmonizing data spaces, the project gives scientists the tools to access, analyze, and collaborate on diverse datasets.

The presentation was recorded at the DeiC Conference 2024.
