Make magic for HCCT; fundraiser Jan. 11
The Hill Country Community Theatre’s seasonal fundraiser will be a magical night—literally. Magician Zak Mirz appears Jan. 11 at the nonprofit theater, 4003 FM 2147 West in Cottonwood Shores. Tickets are on sale now.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a silent auction, and a wine and whiskey pull. Mirz takes the stage for his family-friendly performance at 7:30 p.m.
A rising star in the magic industry (he was recently named Best Magician by the Dallas Observer), Mirz has wowed audiences around the globe. His exceptional talents include fooling legendary magicians Penn and Teller on their hit TV show “Fool Us” and serving as a magic advisor for David Blaine’s special “The Magic Way.”

Proceeds benefit the HCCT, which has been staging high-quality theatrical productions for the Highland Lakes since 1985.
