
ACCORD, N.Y. — The upcoming Woodsist Fest will feature an array of musicians and bands, as well as a turntable giveaway, in September, according to an announcement.
The festival, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sunday, Sept. 22, will be held at Arrowood Farms, 236 Lower Whitfield Road.
Rock band Yo La Tengo will headline the show on Sept. 21, as well as Ethiopian keyboardist Hailu Mergia. Also scheduled for the day are Woods, Jeff Parker, 75 Dollar Bill Little Big Band, Rosali, Sylvie and the Everything Nice DJs. The show on Sept. 22, will be headlined by rock band Real Estate and singer-songwriter Jessica Pratt, as well as appearances from Bonnie “Prince” Billy, The Messthetics, Mystic 100s, Florry, and Tubby’s DJs.
The Sept. 22 show will also feature Saharan rock band Etran de L’Aïr, hailing from Agadez, Niger, in West Africa.
The announcement said record player company Victrola is partnering with Woodsist Festival this year, giving away two turntables and two VIP tickets. Also scheduled is the Side x Side Record Fair, which will be held on both days of the festival.
